🎬British Pathé – Os-Ke-Non-Ton, hereditary chief of the Mohawk tribe, and now radio star, pitches his wigwam in the New Forest and entertains by singing a love song. L/S's of pine woods of Langdown Lawn at Hythe in the New Forest. M/S of a wigwam pitched in the middle of the woods. M/S as Os-Ke-Non-Ton, hereditary chief of the Mohawk tribe, emerges in traditional native American dress. He kneels, then starts to make a fire by rubbing wood together, M/S as he holds up burning cloth and puts it under a pile of wood. M/S as he lights his long pipe from the fire. M/S as he puts on his magnificent Indian head-dress. M/S as he cups his hands to his mouth and calls. He then announces he is going to sing a Red Indian love song and introduces it. He bangs a drum as he sings. M/S after the song has finished he picks up a blanket and walks away into the woods. End Titles

🎬British Movietone - We went down to the Army Railway Centre in Hampshire. And so did over 130 schoolboys. It was an open invitation from the Royal Engineers. "Come and see how we run a railway" - they said. And "just watch how we do it" said the kids.

🎬British Movietone - NO SOUND - Broadlands. MS Lord Mountbatten's 1924 Rolls Royce arrives driven by Lord Romsey, with Prince Charles, Lady Diana Spencer and Lady Romsey. MS They alight from car and Prince and lady Diana are welcomed. MS Prince cuts tape to open the Mountbatten Exhibition and then examines scissors to see if they are blunt. MS Royal party out of Exhibition. GV Crowd gathered in gardens. SEQUENCE: Lady Diana and then Prince Charles plant Atlantic Cedar trees. Various shots - Prince and Lady Diana meeting the crowd (Lady Diana is handed flowers and sweets by childre). CU Lady Diana holding a baby which she then hands back to his mother. PAN Prince and Lady Diana returnign to House. GV Broadlands. NB: The Prince and Lady Diana were visiting Broadlands, their first Official Public Engagement so that the Prince could open The Mountbatten Exhibition, a tribute to the late Lord and Lady Mountbatten. The Exhibition was created by Lord Romsey (Mountbatten's Grandson) and Lady Romsey (the former Penelope Eastwood).
