LS Bed with long dragon's head pointing from bottom is pushed up ramp which has been greased so that people slip and slide. Bed comes over ramp. A man standing in back of van throws bucket of water over people pushing it. GV Four poster bed over ramp. Man throws bucket of water. Travelling S. Through street as camera passes bed. Travelling Another bed. This bed is the one with the serpents head on it. In this shot head is touching the ground. CU Pan as winning bed finishes. SV As bed comes to a halt. People who have been pushing it slump onto the bed. SV Crowd. SV One of the people who were pushing winning bed receives trophy from Jane Edwards. The person kisses Jane Edwards

🎬British Pathé – Model cars that can race at 60 mph. Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset. C/U 2 men, Alban Adams and Christopher Crockett, who make their own model racing cars. C/U model tyre home-made in special moulds. The cars are perfect replicas of various Formula 3 cars built to a scale of one sixteenth. They run on an eggcup full of diesel oil. C/U Alban Adams putting finishing touches to one of the racing cars. Some of the cars are put on racing track with a simple fitting which keeps them on single track lines. 🎬British Pathé – A race for aeroplanes takes place at Bournemouth racecourse. Item title reads: "A new holiday thrill. Aeroplanes replace horses in races around Bournemouth racecourse. Bournemouth, Hampshire M/S of the racecourse with various parked aircraft. The biplanes take off and skim low over the track in front of the crowd in a sort of race. The camera pans over the scene with the crowds and aeroplanes. Intertitles read: "In the Paddock." "They' re off!" "Neck and Neck"- (or should it be, "prop and prop")" " Won by a "prop".
