🎬British Pathé – An item about goats - they are bred for their milk and to help trim the turf roof of the owners log cabin. New Forest, Hampshire. Various shots of a Norwegian style log cabin with a turf roof. On the roof, a goat nibbles the turf to keep it trim, its leash is held by a woman. C/U of a goat. M/S of a goat jumping over a fence. M/S of a herd of goats going into a barn. A woman goes into a pen and separates a Billy from a Nanny goat. She leads the Nanny onto a bench to milk her. Various shots of the goat being milked. M/S of the Billy goats - they are kept away from the Nannies as they make the milk smell (!?). Various shots of Billies in a field butting each other. The goats are all British Toggenburg. 🎬British Movietone - It's the Westland SRN2 again for the first public demonstration over the Solent. Mr Peter Lamb, Chief Test Pilot for Saunders Roe was at the controls, and it wasn't long before the latest "Hoverbus" was bidding up to 60 miles an hour. She can carry up to 66 passengers, and the verdict, a very comfortable ride, with no more than slight pitch and roll. A number of American Naval experts were on this trip. So was the hovercraft's designer.

🎬British Pathé – Model cars that can race at 60 mph. Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset. C/U 2 men, Alban Adams and Christopher Crockett, who make their own model racing cars. C/U model tyre home-made in special moulds. The cars are perfect replicas of various Formula 3 cars built to a scale of one sixteenth. They run on an eggcup full of diesel oil. C/U Alban Adams putting finishing touches to one of the racing cars. Some of the cars are put on racing track with a simple fitting which keeps them on single track lines. (Looks like an early Scalextrix). Top shot of 4 cars racing round the track
