07:29* Mrs G left nest and returned almost immediately with some new 'greenery' for nest.
07:35* Mr G delivered small prey for breakfast which mum promptly fed to the chicks.
(2nd video file starts at 09:00)
09:46* (Player Time 00:46) Mr G delivery. Feeding. Mum still has a preference to feed the slightly larger hawkling ( or to feed the hawklet who sits to her left, more! ) but IS feeding BOTH. The 2nd hawklet getting the hang or stretching up neck high and 'stealing' food out of mother's beak meant for slightly larger sybling! How they seem to grow, bigger and stronger, every day. 10:04 flies off arriving back 10:06
14.38* (Player Time 05:38) Another feed but can't see how itis being distributed as Mum has her bottom in the way.
16:02* (Player Time 07:02) Feed,The hawklings are using their vocalisations very effectively and were obviously fighting for mum's attention - and her 'kill' ! Mrs G flies off at 16:12 returning with a green fir twig for nest at 16:23
17:47* (Player Time 08:47) Mrs G standing above hawklets at 12. Hawklets are making opening and closing 'yawning' movements with their mouths, without vocalising. 17:50 after pecking at the nest bowl Mrs G flies off directly AT the camera! Hawklets scrambling over each other - cute or what?!
19.35* (Player Time 10:35) Yet another feed and this time can see both chicks who are both eating well. Nice of Mum not to have her bottom in the way this time.
