00:36 (36mins after midnight) Mrs G sounds disturbed by what may be a tawny owl landing a bit too close. Owl can be heard close by at 00:37.
09:40 Mrs G back to camera looking like she is feeding the little hawklets who are cheeping insistantly.
09:50 After Mrs G had finishes feeding, she pulled a piece of nest material around the chicks as if to bring them all together, ready to carry on brooding. was this on purpose or an accident.
10:40 Mr G arrives in at 6 in front of her. She kahs loudly and he flies off.
13:12 Mr G arrives from right, walks behind Mrs G from R to L. She utters loud scream-kahs. He has brought some prey. Then flies off. She flies off with prey! 3 little heads bob up - newest hatchling seems to have grown overnight!
13:14 Strong gusts of wind. Plaintive cheeps answered by parent in disrance. 3 Hawklets standing UP in the nest bowl in a howling gale!
13:19 parent calls to reassure. Parent arrives at 6 standing over them vocalising ( I think this is Mr G ) He flies off.
13:21 more adult calls. Mrs G steps on nest to rebuild nest bowl around hawklets with fir twigs and settle on them.
16:41 Strong gusts of wind. Mr G lands at 11, Mrs G calls loudly and he leaves. She rises & steps to left. 3 hawkling 'stand up' in the nest bowl. She feeds prey to them. The biggest seeming to get the lions share.
16:48 the littlest hatchling squeeks as mum inadvertently treds on him getting back into the nest bowl!
18:49 M arrives and leaves immediately (he possibly cached prey near nest). F emits 2 loud whistle calls while B/I facing 5.
18:54 F rises and leaves via 3. Hawklets sit up beaks open and vocalizing.
18:56 F arrives with prey and begins feeding Hawklets (smallest in rear) Feeding lasted 10 minutes. H3 didn't receive food. F did attempt a few offers to H3 but coordination lacking and opportunities lost. All hawklets seem vigorous and strong.
19:07 F left via 9.
19:09 Gos vocalizations off cam. M arrives from 9 then leaves via 9. F arrives immediately from 9 with greenery and picks up prey remains from nest edge. F feeds herself then begging begins again but vocalizations from hawklets almost non-existent. Youngest gets a few tidbits.
19:15 F resumes B/I facing 6. (egg wasn't visible throughout all this activity.
19:58 Mrs G calling on nest a different vocalisation 'ka-oo, kah' She rises, 3 hawklets on L of nest bowl, and settles on chicks.
20:01 Mr G arrives. Mrs G vocalises loudly to him - hopefully that means 'thanks' as he has brought some prey, which she feeds to the hawklets. She feeds the littlest hawklet it's first meal.
20:11 male just came to nest loud screams from mrs G and she chased him off! Shes currently feeding all three chicks. H3 pecks at sitting siblings beak to retrieve stuck food.
20:14 Gos vocalizations off cam. (Likely the adults are still engaging in copulation and some of the vocalizations heard off cam are part of that courtship. 20:20 F returns to nest.
20:23 Mr G flew in from the right, walked over the babies(!) and flew off ..Mrs G screamed at him, then took the remains of the prey and flew off left.
