Watch the activity from winter 2008/2009 at the New Forest Carcass-Cam project. Regular visitors were the local Fox family, seen both at night and during the day and a pair of Buzzards, all overseen by two Robins. Viewers are encouraged to post sightings in the live forum (Carcass-Cam Sightings). We will then endeavour to include the more interesting visits here.

Buzzard 07/12/08 13:00 3mins 13secs NO SOUND A sunny day. The two Buzzards are now regular visitors to the carcass. Here they both feed for a while. One then spends a little time on the far perch before flying off.
Over the winter months we are monitoring which animals scavenge a decomposing corpse. The idea may perhaps seem a little morbid, but in truth, it is the natural world at its most natural.
