Why Register?

Visitors to New Forest Gateway are not required to register. However, by registering with NFG you will be able to view additional content, use the site forums and be informed of updates and additions to the site.
Additional Content for Registered Users:
Nestcam
The nestcams are particularly popular, Registered Users receive additional content and participate in the feedback.
Virtual Earth
Virtual Earth enables Registered Users to see areas of the entire globe in incredible detail. The high quality satellite images of the New Forest are far more detailed than that available on Google Earth.
Pathe News
The search pages are now only accessable to Registered Users.
User Forums
Are now running. All visitors to NFG can view the forums, but only Registered Users can participate.

How To Register

First & Last Names:
Supply first & last names in the appropriate fields.

User Name:
This is your "Public" name & can be a screen name, handle, nickname etc. This is the name you will use to Log In. It is also the name that will appear when you participate in the Forums & other public places on NFG.

Display Name:
This is the name the website uses to recognise & welcome you. NFG also sends notification emails using this name. Message boards may also display this name, so ideally you should use your "User Name" here.

Email Address:
A current email address is required so New Forest Gateway can confirm your registration & communicate with you.

Password & Confirm:
The Password & Confirm fields are shown as [*]. Passwords are case sensitive & must be 7 or more numbers or letters. Type your desired password in both fields to confirm.

Postal Address:
Although not required, you may wish to include your postal address. This is used automatically when making purchases online.
Click Register to submit.

Finally:
An email will be sent to you with a "Verification Code". The first time you login, you will be asked for this code.
