There is currently a petition to reduce the spead limit around Bartley from 40 to 30. If you think it is a sensible idea, sign up at Bartley Post Office.

As a Newforest blogger I would like to add my name to the petition for reducing the speed limit, in the New Forest, from 40 to 30.

Yes I agree there should be 30 limit in the Villages but 40 around the open Forest. It is not the speed that needs to changed but the attiude of the drivers. Unfortunatly most of the animal "accidents" are caused by the locals, who should now better.
