A short feature by the Children's Film Foundation. A father gives his son a New Forest pony. But all does not go well. From the boy's failure to correctly break in the pony to local animal rustling. However there is a happy ending. Featuring Geoffrey Keene playing the part of the father. Starting at the Oak at Fritham the film is a nostalgic look at the forest as it was in 1948.
