A new car ferry, the Lymington, takes her first trip from the Isle of Wight to the mainland. Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. A man in Naval uniform stands before the camera holding a model of a new car ferry boat, the Lymington. Several shots of the real thing, travelling between the Isle of Wight and the mainland. The propellors of the boat are off-centre so that the ferry can turn in a circle like a gyroscope
